Pinnacle has partnered with a leading manufacturer and engineering design company headquartered in the greater Kansas City area; and due to growth, they are hiring a Sales Account Manager to their dynamic team. This position will be responsible for prospecting, managing and growing new and existing client relationships within a robust client portfolio. Ideal candidate will bring a strong and dynamic personality with ability to adapt to a changing sales environment.

Responsibilities for this Sales Account Manager position:

  • Identify, research and communicate to potential clients and related business projects on behalf of the company.
  • Develop and maintain strong, substantial client relationships with your client portfolio to ensure a high level of satisfaction is achieved.
  • Ability AND desire to work in an ever-changing work environment.
  • Proven success of working within and collaborating with a high functioning sales and customer service team.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conference meetings and client functions.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administrative or a related field of study is desired.
  • 2+ yrs of proven sales and account management experience is required.
  • Over the top communication skills; both internally and externally. Competitive nature and hard-working attitude is welcomed.
  • Exposure to the construction and/or engineering field would be a plus.
  • Proficient in MSOffice suite along with various of other platforms to aide in the presentation of products and services.
  • 25% travel is required.
  • Self-starter with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Adopt a work hard – play hard – mentality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
